The approved ministry budget for 2025 was set at $336,000.

By year’s end, we’re on track to spend about $309,000, which is good news—so, we’ve been able to save a bit on expenses.

BUT—here’s where we see a growth opportunity. Our projected income from regular giving in 2024 is around $246,000, leaving a $63,000 gap. We’ve been able to cover that gap using our savings account throughout the year.

While we’re grateful to have savings to fall back on, our goal is not to rely on it for day-to-day ministry expenses. Our savings are meant to fuel future growth initiatives, not just maintain current operations.

With that in mind, we’re setting a year-end giving goal of $63,000. This will allow us to replenish our savings and ensure we have a strong financial foundation for the ministry ahead in 2026.

2026 Growth Initiative

As we look toward 2026, one of our primary themes is organizational growth . A major step in this next season is the addition of a new senior ministry team member who will help lead us into our future. This effort was a Big Rock for 2025 and we are currently interviewing to fill this position. In 2026, we hope to make the hire as we begin to move forward with this new team member to reach for growth into the future.

This leader will oversee the executive administration of the network and build the systems we need to execute vision, support leaders, and sustain the movement we believe God is growing among us. In many ways, this role will “put wheels on the vision,” ensuring that what God is stirring in our community can grow, multiply, and be carried forward with strength. It is a crucial staff position, and we are trusting God’s provision as we take this step.

Our 2026 focus on growth will also include initiatives that help more people encounter Jesus through the life of our network—raising up new House Church leaders, telling the story of God’s activity on social media, and launching a redesigned website that makes it easier for new people to enter into community and mission with us.

We are also continuing to invest deeply in the next generation. Our children’s ministry has become one of the most unexpectedly fruitful expressions of our mission. Through our Kidzone videos—fully written, filmed, and produced by our own team—we are equipping kids not only in our House Churches but in House Churches across the world. Each video receives hundreds of views on YouTube, with several nearing a thousand. The reach has been beyond anything we could’ve anticipated, becoming a global resource that is helping families disciple their kids in the way of Jesus.

This work is pioneering new ground—innovating children’s ministry for the House Church movement worldwide and giving leaders a simple, creative, and theologically rich tool to disciple children in House Churches.

The Fruit of the Past Decade

This past year has been marked by unmistakable growth across the Gathering Network—but it is the kind of growth that has defined us for over a decade: growth that is deeper more than wider.

The story God is writing through the GN is not merely one of increasing numbers, but of a family of covenant love locking arms and stepping into unprecedented depths of formation and maturity.

Alongside the wild, unexpected reach of Kidzone and the strengthening vitality of our House Churches, we launched a men’s group of nearly twenty men who gather weekly in courageous vulnerability—doing the heart work that leads to generational change.

We also celebrated the birth of our first-ever High School House Church, which experienced explosive growth, gathering teens who are awakening to a deep hunger for God and His Word. Across our community, people are maturing far beyond simple Bible knowledge; they are waking up to God’s presence in the whole story of their lives.

Hearts are being healed. Families and marriages are being transformed. Many who have walked through deconstruction are now rebuilding their faith on foundations that are more spiritually mature and resilient than ever before.

The solid, faithful work of more than a decade is bearing deep fruit in the lives of a few today—to become a foundation for transformation for many in the years to come.

The Gathering Network is innovating and poineering a kind of discipleship that will become very valuable in larger churches in the years ahead - and we are learning lessons now that will prove to be very valuable for many more in the future.
