Hello there Gathering Network friends!
This coming Sunday is going to be our first all worship and prayer night in our new meeting space! It's been feeling really nice having a space that fits our size a little bit better, allowing us to interact with each other more easily and worship together more natrually. Our new rhythm in 2012 is such that if there is a fifth Sunday in a month, we'll dedicate that night to all worship, prayer, and communion in our celebration service. It should be a great time together. 5pm at Cedar Ridge!
Again, if you are a covenant partner or are interested in that path, consider attending our "61 Retreat" on February 3-4. You can find out more and sign up for that at the information table this coming Sunday evening.
Everyone have a great weekend and we'll see you Sunday!
Peace,
the Gathering Network staff
Hi there Gathering Network friends—
Just a couple quick things this chilly Thursday.
It's cold outside. What better way to warm the soul than to think about summer? And do you know what summer brings? The Leadership Training Project! That's right, LTP applications are already being accepted and interviews will start soon. If you're college aged (or a few years after college aged) and are interested in an awesome discipleship opportunity for the months of June and July, check out our LTP page and fill out an application.
This coming Sunday we'll be meeting at our 'new usual' which is 5pm at Cedar Ridge Christian Church. Jon will be teaching and Kyle and the band will be leading us in worship. Can't wait to all be together!
Have a great weekend.
Peace,
the Gathering Network staff
Hello there on this snowy Thursday! I hope everyone is enjoying all 7 of our degrees today. :/ Brr!
First things first, what a GREAT Sunday we had this past weekend! Cedar Ridge was just the bees knees, wasn't it? Join us again this coming Sunday ... 5pm at Cedar Ridge on Sunday afternoon.
Now ... I received my W-2 in the mail today, which [sighhh] reminds me that we all need to do our taxes sometime before April 15th. If you have given financially to the Gathering Network at all in 2011—whether it's the ministry fund, LTP, or the love fund—those are tax-exempt gifts. So if you need a giving statement for your taxes, here are the instructions to obtain one:
-
Log into CCB here or by clicking "sign in" on our webpage
-
Go to your profile and click on the far right tab that is labeled “Financial”. Then click “Giving Statement”. Choose the dropdown menus as follows:
3. Click "Create" and it will make a pdf that you can view, save, and print.
It's that easy! If you have questions, feel free to email Amy to help you out (ag@gatheringnetwork.org).
Happy snow day, tax season, and weekend. We'll see you Sunday!
Peace,
the Gathering Network staff
