5th Sunday Regional Prayer Hubs: Contending for Spiritual Awakening in 2020
We believe Jesus wants us all to be FULLY ALIVE in him!
Throughout 2020 we want to seek God in prayer for spiritual awakening in our own lives, and in the lives of others all across the city.
This year we are entering into “contending patterns” as a church.
A contending pattern is a regular time and place set aside in our rhythms of life to seek God for personal and corporate renewal. We do this from a place of rest, ease, and delight as sons and daughters of God, not striving or performing from a spirit of spiritual orphanism or slavery.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “IF my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”
What a great promise of renewal!
5th Sundays are a beautiful image of what a contending pattern can be for our church – a place and time set aside to seek God for spiritual awakening together.
DETAILS: Sunday, March 31 at 10:00 AM at one of these Regional Prayer Hubs.
