Every couple is different and every wedding is different.

Our officiants work hard to facilitate a wedding service unique to each couple. We also understand your wedding is an opportunity to experience God’s presence in a deeply significant and felt way - both for the couple and for those in attendance.

To provide this kind of experience, our officiants will work to get to know the couple and their story and will work with the couple to truly understand their desires for the big day.

Due to the amount of time officiants spend planning for, traveling to, and performing the wedding, we ask that an honorarium be shared to compensate for their time and effort

Included in the officiating honorarium is the following:

  • Two 90-minute meetings with the officiant facilitating your service.

    • Meeting 1 is scheduled roughly 60 days from the date of the wedding. The agenda of this meeting is to get to know the couple's story and to walk through a google doc to be edited by the couple, helping them put on paper what they hope to see happen, and who they would like to be a part of the wedding.

    • Meeting 2 is scheduled roughly 30 days from the date of the wedding. The agenda of this meeting is to finalize the flow of the service including the participants that will be playing programming roles in the service (singers, scripture readers, etc.)

These meetings are designed as opportunities for the officiant to get to know the couple and their story and to walk through a customized plan for the wedding service.

After the second meeting, and in the days leading up to the service, the officiant will spend time in prayer crafting a unique word for the couple that will be shared with them during the service.
