Due to the amount of time officiants spend planning for, traveling to, and performing the wedding, we ask that an honorarium be shared to compensate for their time and effort.
Officiant Honorarium:
Local - within a 60-mile radius of downtown Kansas City.
$350 honorarium for one day (wedding day)
$450 for two days (rehearsal day + wedding day)
Beyond a 60-mile radius of downtown Kansas City.
$650 honorarium and reimbursements of:
Travel (gas if driving, or airfare and rental car)
Hotel
Food
How and when to pay the honorarium:
The wedding officiant honorarium is due either before or on the day of your wedding in the form of a Venmo, Paypal or check payable directly to your officiant.
