What to Expect: A Counseling Guide
Ready to Request Premarital Counseling or a Wedding?
Before you contact the pastor, please fill out the Premarital Counseling and Wedding Request Form
which will give the pastor the information he or she needs to be able to confirm your request. You are welcome to submit your request up to one year in advance of your selected date, however, we are unable to confirm our pastors' availability until six months prior to your selected date. We do ask that all requests be made at least 90 days in advance.
I Just Submitted My Request—What's Next?
We take the submitted request and allow the pastor to check his or her calendar for the wedding date prior to making a commitment. Once we know it will work for the calendar, then we will set up the counseling path. For a complete layout of that path and what to expect, see the Step-by-Step Wedding Request Checklist
Fees for Premarital Counseling and Weddings
Need a quick summary of the fees associated with premarital counseling and officiating weddings? Please see our Fees for Counseling and Wedding Requests
What to Expect: a Counseling Guide
Because premarital counseling can help you better know and understand your partner as well as prepare you for future challenges, the Gathering Network pastors do require all of the couples they marry to go through premarital counseling. For further explanation of premarital counseling, see our Counseling Guide
If you have questions or need additional info, we would love to help! Please feel free to email Jordanne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
